Our Director Maddi had an amazing time with Tiny Changes delivering training sessions to their incredible new team of Lived Experience Project Workers. It was fantastic to meet these young Lex Leaders!

The team took part in four sessions:

Working Well Together – our session looking at needs, boundaries and group agreements, that is designed to help teams work together more collaboratively in inclusive ways

Inclusive Facilitation – a training session designed to help anyone facilitating meetings, training or other events, whether they are just starting out, or experienced professionals looking to refine their skills. The training covers accessibility & inclusion, and real-life practice using the skills covered in our fun but informative role play exercises.

Introduction to Lex leadership – one of our flagship workshops looking at some of the definitions, research and principles of Lived Experience Leadership. We also cover some of the key research and reports outlining not just the challenges, but also the huge benefits lex leadership can bring. This training is valuable for Lex leaders at any point in their career, and can also be really useful for organisations that want to support the development of Lex leadership in their organisations and work.

Telling Your Lex Story – a workshop for anyone sharing their Lived Expertise to influence change, whether as a volunteer campaigner or in a senior leadership role. The training covers how to keep yourself safe while sharing Lived Experience stories, but also some tips on how to adapt and target your story to have the most impact and influence.

We’re really excited about the work Tiny Changes is doing, and we hope to catch up with the Project Workers in the next few months to see how they are doing!
