We had the honour of partnering with Social Investment Scotland (SIS) as Lived Experience Experts, contributing to their transformative Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) programme for Just Enterprise customers. Our collaboration with Lindsay Wake, Head of Impact & Communications at SIS, led to the development of two custom-designed impactful sessions on neurodivergence and disability inclusion that left a lasting impression.

If you are interested in our Neurodivergence Acceptance, Disability Inclusion or other training, or you would like a chat about our custom sessions, Lex leadership work and consultancy, drop us a line to arrange a chat! info@lexscotland.org

“I found LEX Scotland very easy to work with. Ideas were contributed, and materials developed were relevant and suited the audience. Much care was taken in getting the content right. The facilitator was knowledgeable, generous in their experiences and knowledge. I don’t actually think there was anything more that would have improved the sessions. We wanted the sessions to be led by people with lived experience and I knew Lex Scotland cared about getting it right for diverse audiences and participants, and had the experience to deliver.”

What the participants told us:

“I liked the idea of finding out if our staff and volunteers feel supported, or unsafe and if so, why. We often forget to ask! I now have a list of ideas to accommodate people with neurodivergency, using an affirming model. I liked the suggestion of using supervision sessions to check-in with staff and use a framework like a Mind Wellness Action Plan”

“It was very informative and I took a lot away to read back over and share with colleagues.”

“It was very eye-opening!”
