We delivered our Lex designed and delivered Neurodivergeny Awareness training to all of Pilotlight’s fantastic staff.
This training is designed to give an understanding of neurodiversity, how to support neurodivergent people in the workplace and community, and gives space for neurodivergent team members to share their own Lived Expertise.
The half-day training covers a variety of neurodivergent identities and conditions in a positive and affirming way, including Autistic and ADHD experiences and more. The trainers also share their own Lived Expertise during the session. We share a comprehensive resource list after the session to provide Lived Experience centred information and practical resources for improving the workplace for neurodivergent people.
“A recommendation for LEX Scotland was made by a Pilotlight associate. Upon reviewing the organisation it was felt that the lived experience of the trainers and the approach to facilitated learning taken by LEX Scotland would meet the objectives of the DEI committee* and align with Pilotlight’s values. After reviewing other organisations offering similar training and comparing proposals, it was clear that LEX Scotland’s training offer was competitive and uniquely positioned within the market. This was due to the lived experience of the trainers and the bespoke offering that LEX were happy to provide.” Sam Lewis, resource Planning Manger, Pilotlight,
